This Side... and That Side

My condo is quite near Miyazaki's train station, and there are some elevated tracks that run right by my place.

Here's what it looks like on my side of the tracks.


Here's what it looks like on the other side of the tracks.


Which side of the tracks do you prefer?

    Wow. It seems small borders don't only exist in Mexico, where 200 meters can take you from the richest and safest to the poorest and deadliest.
    Very interesting exercise. I guess I'll stay on your side, though.

    Actually the pictures are a bit deceiving. "My side" shows a walking/cycling path that runs alongside the elevated tracks. In Japan it's fairly common to have rich and poor living in the same neighborhood.
