I can't believe you're continuing to get these shots. Are you incredibly stealthy, or have you just become so familiar to the birds by now?

ReplyDeleteGiven the location of the nest, I just assume they're not too skittish around people generally. This kind of thing is fairly common (in Miyazaki, at least). The Japanese would be very reluctant to displace these birds. I suspect in North America health and hygiene concerns would mandate their removal.
Hah! Another example supporting my belief that germ-phobia is ruining America.
