  1. These are the best phone-photos I've seen since Glenn went to St. Bernard Parish. (if I'm assuming correctly) http://lifeinthequarter.blogspot.com/2010/03/judge-perez-drive-1-orange-pickup.html

  2. I'm confused, Rick. Are these screens or doors, and shouldn;t they be made of paper? I know, "a little knowledge ... ".

(And thanks, sussah. I've been in and out of St. Bernard nearly every day this week [don't ask]. It also seems that somewhere I came across your Baptist church - the one where the Saints go to worship - but can't remember when or where. I'm kicking myself for not snapping it even as we speak.)

  3. It's on Elysian Fields at the base of the railroad overpass, across from the Lowe's. I thoIught it was a clever play on words, but really the Saints Superbowl win was blissful, healing, and very unifying, so that's been pretty much a religious experience! thanks, sp
...I thought shoji blinds were rice paper.

  4. @aussah: Yep, that's where it is. I've hit Lowe's several times in the last two weeks, for plants, potting soil, and weed killer and such.
