I just watched the film Dark Water, based on a Japanese film. An important character in the film is the Brutalist architecture of Roosevelt Island, which my friend from NY tells me is a real place. Trouble getting my mind around that.
Artsparker, I've seen that movie, so I know the place you're talking about. The house in these pics (yeah, it's a house) is directly in front of the front balcony of my fourth floor condo. I was kinda pissed when it was built a couple of years ago, and I still think it's a pretty damned ugly structure.
