Swinger

I was going to trash this pic (for obvious reasons), but something about its (quite accidental) composition kept drawing my eye to it.

  1. Cyan, Magenta and yellow and black- the palette printers use, not seen much in the real world.

  2. That's pretty interesting, Susan (seriously). I actually had to wiki "cyan"! I've heard/seen the word before, of course, but the extent of my "color vocabulary" doesn't extend much beyond black, white, primary colors, and lighter or darker versions of them. Well, maybe some blending (e.g. "purplish red").
I'm the same way with objects--words like "table" or "chair" serve (for me) to describe any of those classes of objects (supplemented with adjectives, of course).
Now, if you want to talk about how I perceive these things, well, I've got the dictionary memorized on that stuff (and I even make up my own words sometimes!).
I suspect this has more to do with not being an artist/not working in a furniture shop/etc. than anything else. I can strip a drum kit down and name even the smallest part...
