I gave up on TV as a news source a couple of years ago. This very clever, very well-done parody pretty much nails one of my biggest complaints about TV news "reporting":

I am so relieved they have grown up - nowadays I cannot stand the noise Cartoon Network makes. And what about all those advertisements? It's more than I can bear!!!!

I used to watch it too, when kids were real kids.
