It's not easy being a Stones "apologist," believe me. In the middle of a conversation about, say, punk or post-rock, dropping The Stones can have a chilling effect. Of course the young people today barely remember U2, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised.
Okay, anyone who can watch this video (or any video out of hundreds like it) and still say The Beatles were the better band is not someone I want to know.
BUT, I came back to your blog to tell you that I just tried out this "YouTube-video-to-MP3 converter" website on the "Bitch" video and it seems to work great. You just enter the YouTube link and it spits out an MP3 file. Knowing you like the YouTube, I thought I'd share the link.

Seriously, try it out. I was skeptical at first, but now I'm probably going to be spending all morning downloading live clips into my iTunes.
Mmm, that's some good-ass Stones.
ReplyDeleteIndeed it is, Dave.

Dave,
ReplyDeleteNo need to "preach to the choir" here!
And thanks for the link. That's a handy little tool.
