Done with Mirrors

  1. Holy cow, what is that? It looks monolithic. (You're going to tell me it's your daughter's hand mirror, aren't you>)

  2. Actually, Glenn, it's the reflected road mirror from the "self portrait" earlier this week. Different angle, time of day, etc. I don't have much imagination when it comes to subjects, so I just photograph the same shit over and over!

  3. (So do I. I haven't stepped out of a two-block radius from home all winter.)

  4. I particularly like this mirror with black/grey spots (how do you call them in English - rusty spots?).

  5. Claudia,
I'm not certain if those spots are actually rust (although it's possible). Definitely it's corrosion of some sort.
[And only because you asked: we would probably say "rust spots" or "spots of rust"; or we might just say "it's rusty/rusted." I'll put this on your tab!]

  6. Thank you ever so much, Rick! Keep the tab going, one day I should pay (in Real, our good Brazilian money...)

  7. Claudia,
This is the "new economy"--someday I might need some help in Portuguese...
