From the Bad Cheque Department

Question of the day:
Why won’t America and Nato help us? If they won’t help us now, why did we help them in Iraq?

  1. THe ultimate reason is that the U.S. has nothing at stake in Georgia.

  2. Glenn,
    Yeah, perhaps an unpleasant surprise.

Thanks for dropping by and commenting.
Basically I think you're right--the US has nothing tangible at stake there. And I certainly wouldn't recommend going to war with Russia. We might, though, forgive the Georgians if they're feeling a little frustrated right now.
