Reminiscing

I read this story a while back and was reminded of a kitchen I worked in back in my university days. We didn't spit in the food, or anything like that (anathema to any good kitchen staff), but at the same time we didn't like (to put it mildly) being over-worked and under-paid.

If those that have gave half a thought to those that don't, they'd never sleep...

This was the "theme song" of the kitchen I worked in. If these aren't words to live by, I don't know what are...
Fuck you, I won't do what you tell me
Fuck you, I won't do what you tell me
Fuck you, I won't do what you tell me
Fuck you, I won't do what you tell me
Fuck you, I won't do what you tell me
Fuck you, I won't do what you tell me
Fuck you, I won't do what you tell me
Fuck you, I won't do what you tell me
Fuck you, I won't do what you tell me!
Fuck you, I won't do what you tell me!
Fuck you, I won't do what you tell me!
Fuck you, I won't do what you tell me!
Fuck you, I won't do what you tell me!
Fuck you, I won't do what you tell me!
Fuck you, I won't do what you tell me!
Fuck you, I won't do what you tell me!

Motherfucker!

  1. Heh. Just finished listening. Thought you were going a little Jack Torrance on me. I'd forgotten how many times the final line of the song is repeated.

  3. Brendan,
Yeah, a nice blast from the past. I posted the end lyrics in their entirety mostly because it pleases me to see all those "fuck you"s written out like that. I know, I know, small things, small minds...

    Artsparker,
I've devoted my life to having as much fun as possible while maintaining the appearance of being a hard-working, well-adjusted member of society. Do you think I've fooled anyone?
