A Passing Boat

  1. This series with tetrapods, daugher in pink, blue sky and sea - they really make me go away to a fairyland tale!

My 15 year-old has just checked out those photos and is delighted!

This one made me travel all the way to the time of Bossa Nova (hope you like it, or at least don't hate it ... thanks god it's not Friday yet!).

There is a music, from João Gilberto, called "O Barquinho" (The Little Boat). I love it. I happened to find a video where a Brazilian singer, Fernanda Takai, sings it in Japanese. I have no idea how the translation fits the original, but I liked the result:

    Cheers!

  2. Correcting: the song was written by Roberto Menescal and Ronaldo Bôscoli.

  3. Thanks for the link, Claudia. I have a soft spot for Latin/Spanish-influenced music, so I certainly don't hate Bossa Nova!
Speaking of music, these days I've been checking out some stuff by Jorge Ben (from Brazil). Good stuff!
