    2. And, by the way, I've never seen a snowplow-proofed mailbox in Miyazaki! :-)

    3. How would I know? I've never seen "a snowplow-proofed mailbox" anywhere in my life. (Good to see you back!)

  2. LOL! Well, the thing in the lower left is a rural mailbox. The 2X4 propping it up is to make sure the snowplow doesn't knock it over each day as it sprays whatever snow is on the road... Jeez... maybe I have to explain snowplow... ;-)

    1. I'm feeling wicked tonight so... Water? US Army Engineer Corps?
Probably in bad taste, Glenn, and I apologize.
And it's good to be back online!

    3. No, no, no, no, no. I left right after my last comment; I had to move the car and grab a bite of lunch. That's why I didn't jump back more quickly. It would take a lot more than that from you to offend me. It was a good shot. Chill, my man. We cool.

  4. Hi Rick, I like the photo very much with the delicate little looping wires, but I wouldn't have known it was a mailbox or necessarily Nova Scotia without the title ... glad you're back online! maybe even back home? sp
