I used to think that kind of construction techniques were exclusive from Mexico, where we knock down entire sections of the supporting walls just to get better views. How are you doing with the typhoon? I heard this time it is really powerful. Hope you and your family are ok.
Usual Stuff, We're fine, thanks. The recent typhoon passed by to the north-west of where we are. Heh, Haligonians (people from Halifax) may be like the "Mexicans of Canada". It's always a good time for a festival!

Verilion, I think it was probably a hotel back in the day. It's interesting to note, though, that it's on the same street that would become Halifax's (rather small, er... so I hear!) red light district.
