Thank you, Susanna. Do you mean when the trees in Alabama grow back their leaves in spring, or was there some environmental issue? (This was taken in early January in Miyazaki, BTW!)
hi Rick, it was something called Hurricane Ivan, in the year before Katrina. We love the Gulf State Park, must have been there 50 separate trips. Now the state park forest is in the process of growing back, and they have built new boardwalks, etc. It takes a while but will be protected & come back as before someday. The beach itself is gorgeous, even though it's been through troubles too. We go again in late April. thanks, sp
