Ah, the cinder block. As ubiquitous as the vending machine ;-) I remember these little structures when I was growing up in Southwestern Louisiana, of all places. They were great forts for kids to slip into and weave their fantasies of piracy or mythological heroism. Not bad for a little chemical experimentation every now and then, too. (But I only know about that from my brothers.)
It's funny you mention vending machines, Glenn. There will be a new post tomorrow! Also, the cinder block... I spent over an hour today snapping pics of a fairly long cinder block wall. I'll be posting some of them soon. I had a good time, felt like I was returning to my roots or some foolish thing...! ;-)
