Again This Evening

This evening before dinner I went out for a walk with my daughter and our dog. I took a few pics (click to enlarge):

The moon isn't toppling in any of these pics, but it's still Phoctober!

  1. I really like all of these, the beauty of composition smiles. (yeah that's what I said, smiles)

The spider one both has beauty and fear in it (well for me anyway), looking so big, seeming to be suspended in the air (just what I don't want a spider to be doing)

  2. The moon can't topple so long as you insist on trapping it between wires as you do. Let the moon go!

  3. These are brilliant shots, Kyklops! Well done! I really like that first one, brilliant composition!
I dunno, I think keeping the moon trapped like that might well prevent it from toppling. You know what moons are like left to their own devices... ;-)

  4. Taffiny,
Thanks! And please remember: spiders are our friends!

Thanks kindly. Moon is my prisoner...!

  5. What good shots! The moon is tough to capture, you got it nicely!

I like the double orb shot, and the sunset shots are lovely!

    What a nice walk.

  6. Scarlett,
Thanks for dropping by, and thanks for your kind words!

  7. That spiders's picture is absolutely out of this world. They look like space expeditioners on the dawn of an alien world. In my humble opinion, your best so far. The timing and rythm are truly amazing. Poetry in one picture.
